Cindy Matthews, 52 years of the Rainsboro Community, died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Highland Co, Oh on December 27, 1956 to Kenneth and Janet J. Hixson Estle of the Rainsboro Community.
Cindy was a member of the Rainsboro United Methodist Church where she served as Treasurer. Cindy was also a volunteer for the Samaritan Outreach, the Highland County Homeless Shelter, worked at the Highland Co. Board of Elections and Producers Livestock.
Cindy was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Estle. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband Rick Matthews whom she married on June 5, 1977, one son and daughter-in-law Josh and Erin Matthews of Bainbridge, three daughters and son-in-law: Tara Matthews fiancé, Todd Campbell of Greenfield, Jennifer and Nathan Brown of Hillsboro and Samantha Matthews at home and two grandchildren, Grace and Zane Matthews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rainsboro United Methodist Church, with Rev. Zedda Myers, Rev. Russell Clark and Rev. Janie Shoemaker officiating.Burial will follow in Rhoads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
