Clara Miller, 88 years of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Winchester, Ohio on November 10, 1923 the daughter of the late Henry T. and Clarinda Wintersteen Dixon.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles E. Miller, who passed away in 1993, son, Gary Miller, three brothers, Charles R. Dixon, Henry P. Dixon, and Norval R. Dixon, and one sister, Mary Donnabelle Dickson.
Clara was a member of Winchester Presbyterian Church, Women's American Legion Auxiliary, Scattered Home Makers, a former writer for Winchester News, and she was in the Bowling League in the 1970's.
She is survived by two daughters; Judith Ann Taylor of Iowa and Norma Cheek of Winchester, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Winchester United Methodist Church with Rev. John Waugh and David Wirth officiating.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Road Maysville, Kentucky 41056 or to the family C/O Norma Cheek, P.O. Box 305 Winchester, Ohio 45697.
