Clarence Banks, 75 years of Peebles, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky on September 25, 1934 the son of the late Wesley and Hester Banks.
Clarence attended the Purtee School House Church and was a member of Dayton United Auto Workers.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Randy Banks.
He is survived by his wife Reba Huff Banks of Peebles, whom he married on August 20, 1960, one son and daughter-in-law; Rick and Mary Banks of West Liberty, Kentucky, three daughters and son-in-law; Shirley Dunn of New Carlisle, Ohio, Vickie and Bob Terry of Tipp City, Ohio, and Dona Grimmett of Medway, Ohio, four brothers; Ray, Roy, Carlos, and Edgar Banks, two sisters; Beatrice Brown and Imogene Williams of Dayton, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and best friend Charlie Grimmett.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Charles Gardner officiating. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
