Clarence H. Hopkins, 90 years of Elmville Community, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
He was born in Highland County, Ohio on July 1, 1913 the son of the late Harley and Verda Rhoads Hopkins.
He was a member of the Hillsboro F.O.E. Aerie #1161.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son, James Hopkins, three brothers, Archie, Cecil, and Bertsel Hopkins, and one sister, Emma Hopkins.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Bob and Marie Hopkins of Hillsboro, Bill Hopkins of Peebles, Donnie Hopkins of Peebles, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jean and Ed Elliott of Dayton, brothers and sister-in-law, Eugene and Joann Hopkins of Hillsboro, George Hopkins of Hillsboro, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Rev. David Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Coss Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
