Cline Burke, age 84 of Blue Creek, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at VA Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Virgie, Kentucky on July 11, 1929 the son of the late Dallas and Margaret Tackett Burke.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Glessie Burke, who passed away on April 20, 2009.
Cline was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Disabled Veterans.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Burke of New Boston, Michigan and Tim and Cherryl Burke of Hillsdale, Michigan; one daughter, Jennifer Ridolfi of Blue Creek; one sister, Maggie Tackett of Virgie, Kentucky; two grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Clifford Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with military rites given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
