Clyde K. Maines, 96 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 6, 1911 the son of the late Ben and Lizzie Bayless Maines.
He was the owner and operator of Clyde Maines and Sons Tin Shop from 1936-2000, which is still in operation by his two sons.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Maines, who passed away in 2002, one brother, Sid Osman, and one sister, Mary Campton.
He is survived by two sons & daughter-in-law Harley & Patricia Maines of Hillsboro, Roger Maines of Hillsboro, two grandsons, Jeff and Jason Maines, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
