Clyde W. Pidcock, 95 years of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Carbon Hill, OH on September 17, 1918, the son of the late Olin and Mary Shultiz Pidcock. Besides his parents he was also preceded by two brothers Charles and Frank Pidcock and sister Sara "Sis" Sparrow.
Clyde served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, was a life member of the Trapping Association, an outdoors man, enjoyed boxing, loved to write and watch the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.
He is survived by his wife Helen Pidcock, whom he married on June 5, 1976, step-son & step-daughter-in-law James and Betty, step-daughters and step-sons-in-law Jean and Jim and Mary Ann and Karey; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
On behalf of Clyde's wishes, he is to be cremated and funeral services will be at the family's convenience.
