Crystal Rains

Crystal Rains, 69 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, August 22, 2011 at her residence.
She was born at Chattanooga, TN on August 26, 1941 the daughter of the late John William Henry and Eliza Jane Goins Harrison. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard E. Rains on June 13, 1988; one son Elzie Leon Rains; three brothers, Arthur, Dewitt, Ray Harrison; one sister, Margaret McAllister; one son-in-law, Lee Humphrey.
She worked at the Clermont Mercy Hospital and was an avid supporter of the St. Jude Hospital.
She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Leonard Scott and April Rains of Hillsboro; three daughters and son in laws, Debbie Gilmore of Hillsboro; Teresa "Terri" and Tim Brannan of Hillsboro; Sandy and Robert Vernon DeBusk, Jr. of Hillsboro; friend, Joey Rickett of Hillsboro; two brothers, Mike Harrison of Cincinnati; Johnny Harrison of Cincinnati; one sister, Barb Blankenship of Hillsboro; companion, Jerry Glenn of Seaman; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday,
August 26, 2011 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Rev. Randall Goble officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Chapel Cemetery near Sinking Spring.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
