Dale Minzler

February 13, 1930 — May 29, 2002

Dale Minzler, 72 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.

He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on February 13, 1930 the son of the late Andrew and Minnie Cassidy Minzler.

He attended the Hillsboro Freewill Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the American Legion. He retired as an inspector for Hobart.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Ellen Young, Mary Ruth Young, and one brother, Henry A. Minzler.

He is survived by two sons, Andy Dwayne Butch Minzler of Bainbridge, Robert Dale Minzler of Washington Court House, two daughters, Sandra K. Rodgers of Good Hope, Jennifer Minzler Jones of Wilmington, brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Phyllis Minzler of New Vienna, Oris and Dottie Minzler of Hillsboro, sisters and brother-in-law, Reta Cochran of Hillsboro, Betty Lee and Henry Henthorn of Sabina, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Richard Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Troutwine Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
