Dan Cupp, 89 years, a well-known businessman from the Winchester area, died Monday, July 23, 2001 at his residence.
He was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on February 21, 1912 the son of the late James and Hester Jones Cupp.
He was a member of the Winchester Baptist Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel since 1960.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lillian Church Cupp of Winchester, son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Margaret Cupp of Hardinsburg, Indiana, three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Bob Clinger of West Carrollton, Brenda and Bob Weiland of Miamisburg, Connie and Bob Blackburn of Miamisburg, Ronnie Clark of Cincinnati, one brother, Mose Cupp of Lexington, Kentucky, one sister, Minnie Sparks of Norwood, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Steve Bankhead officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
