Dan Bear Reed, 55 years of Lima, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on April 5, 1955.
He was preceded in death by his step brother Deron Reed.
Dan was a member of the Peebles Masonic Lodge #581 and the American Legion.
He is survived by his father Gene Reed of Peebles, his mother Betty Stephens Shadley of Lima, his wife Karren Allen Reed whom he married on February 10, 1979 of Lima, one daughter; Jessica Reed of Columbus, three brothers; Fred Reed of Lima, Maverick Matthews of Stanton, Kentucky, Shawn Matthews of Lima, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Heather Helmig and Jon Reed co-officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. with a Masonic Service at 7:30 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
