Daniel "Dan" Hiestand, 95 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday November 5, 2022.
He was born in Highland County on October 25, 1927, the son of the late Clarence and Sarah (Perin) Hiestand. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by six siblings and son-in-law, Mike Mays.
Dan was a life long farmer.
Dan is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Hamilton) Hiestand, sons, Donnie and John Hiestand, both of Hillsboro, daughters, Sharon Mays of Hillsboro, Patty (Tony) Burden of Hillsboro and Cheryl (Greg) Jones of New Hampshire, three grandchildren, Michelle (Doug) Shannon, Stephanie Jones and Danielle Burden and two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Maggie Shannon.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
