Daniel James, 40 years of Winchester, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Madison, Indiana on October 1, 1964 the son of Gary and Janice Dick James.
He was a member of the Countryside Church of Christ. He was a fifteen year minister at various churches, and Summit Theological Seminary, 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Getz James, who he married on April 28, 1984, parents, Gary and Janice James of Rising Sun, Indiana, maternal grandmother, Verna Dick of Bright, Indiana, sons, Derek James of Winchester, Matt James of Winchester, brother, Tim James of Rising Sun, Indiana, and sister, Debbie Nuesse, Baroursville, West Virginia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at the Bright Christian Church in Bright, Indiana, with visitation from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Bright Christian Church. Funeral Services will also be held Friday, January 7, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Countryside Church of Christ in Seaman, with visitation from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M., Thursday at the Countryside Church of Christ with Kerry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman is in charge of arrangements.
