Daniel E. Thomas, Sr., 68 years of Seaman, died Thursday, May 3, 2001 at his daughter?s home in Warsaw, Kentucky.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on June 21, 1932 the son of the late Ralph and Grace Setty Thomas.
He was a security officer at Deaconess Hospital. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Seaman American Legion Post #633.
He is survived by his son, Daniel E. Thomas, Jr. of Florence, Kentucky, two daughters, Sharon Croswait of Warsaw, Kentucky, Sue Bryant of Tennessee, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother, Joe Thomas of Alabama, and five sisters, Laura Ruggles of West Union, Helen Mullins of West Union, Mary Young of Seaman, Grace Meyers of Seaman, and Ruth Ann Boldman of Fairfax.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Austin Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery with military graveside service conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
