Dan E. VanTol, 59 years of Leesburg, passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2021.
He was born in Flint, MI on June 21, 1962, the son of Jean Turco of Leesburg, FL and the late Donald VanTol.
Dan served in the United States Navy on the USS Sierra, he was a Teamster, a truck driver for many years, loved to go camping, fishing, telling good jokes and loved his family, friends and his dogs.
Besides his mother, Dan is survived by his partner, Diane Chambers, son, Daniel (Haley) VanTol of Kettering, daughter, Carrie (Carl) Neanover of Charleston, SC, step-daughter, Candice (Pete) Barrera of Hammond, IN, step-sons, Michael Kelley of Hillsboro, Guy Chambers of Greensboro, NC and Isaac Chambers of Leesburg, three grandchildren, Leanna, Melody and Teagen Neanover, two brothers, Walter VanTol of Leesburg, FL and Allan (Tammy) VanTol of Linden, MI and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM Sunday October 3, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Services will conclude with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
