Danny Davis, 56 years of Hillsboro, died unexpectedly Friday, February 21, 2003 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in New Market, Ohio on August 9, 1946 the son of the late McClellan and Edna P. Kidder Davis.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet-Nam Era. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #1161. He was employed at Techni-Color in Wilmington.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, William B. Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Barnes Davis of Hillsboro, son, Brian Davis of Dayton, brothers and sisters-in-law, Wib and Ruth Davis of Hillsboro, Dale and Barbara Davis of Mason, sister, Irene Stroop of Hillsboro, sister-in-law, Betty Davis of Hillsboro, father-in-law, Paul Barnes of Hillsboro, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Judy Barnes of Hillsboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Derek Stump officiating. Burial will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
