Danny L. Mcbee

Danny L. McBee, 73 years of the Elmville Community, passed away January 2, 2021.

Danny was born in Dayton, OH on September 2, 1947, the son of the late Dennis P. "Dink" and Rozelle (Davidson) McBee.

Danny is survived by his wife, Karen Sue (Harris) McBee whom he married on April 9, 1966, his children, Jeff & Pam McBee of Cincinnati, Steve McBee of Elmville Community and Christina & David Jimison of Winchester: eight grandchildren, Jacob (Jill) McBee, Abigal McBee, Adam McBee, Jerimiah McBee, Caleb McBee, Michaiah McBee, Mackenzie Jimison, Dustin Jimison; several cousins and a host of friends.

Danny was a1965 graduate of Sinking Spring High School. Danny retired from the Hobart Corporation after 39 years of service and continued to work for GLT in Dayton for there maintenance department as needed. Danny was a 52 year member of the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle Church and a Licensed Minister with the Wesleyan Tabernacle Association. Danny was serving his 4th term as a Brush Creek Township Trustee, President of the Brush Creek Life Squad for 43 years and served on the Brush Creek Fire Department for 43 years as well. Danny served on the Highland County EMA Board, Highland District Hospital Board for several years and was the President of the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery Association Board.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday January 8, 2021 at the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle Church, 30010 State Route 41, Peebles, OH..

Rev. Richard Williams will be officiating with burial to follow at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday January 7, 2021 at the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle Church.

Social distancing will be observed and mask required.

The Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring entrusted with the services.
