Darrell L. Warnock

Darrell L. "Bud" Warnock, 72 years of Hillsboro, died Friday Januaray 16, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 15, 1936, the son of the late Taylor and Brook Browning Warnock. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dora Newman Warnock on August 12, 2006 and one daughter Alma Sue Warnock.
Bud was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church. He worked for 30 years at Robertshaw in Hillsboro, later retired from Cork Construction and was also a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Vickie Warnock II of Hillsboro, Steve and Teresa Warnock of Hillsboro, Andrew and Christy Warnock of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Josh Molly Warnock, Tyler Savannah Warnock, Hannah Warnock, Cody Warnock, Cory Warnock, Savannah Warnock, Spencer Warnock; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Pam Warnock of Reesville, OH., Donnie and Sherry Warnock of Kettering, OH.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Eunice Warnock of Kettering, OH., Carol and Henry Smith of Peebles, OH. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
Rev. Wiley Perkins and Rev. Steve Warnock will officiate.
Burial will follow in the New Market Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church, 10211 State Route 72, Leesburg, OH. 45135.
