Daryl W. Purdom, 61 years of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the Bethesda North Hospital.
Daryl was born May 12, 1958 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Emery B. "Slim" and Mildred Opal (Pollard) Purdom. Beside his parents, Daryl was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Purdom, one sister, Geneva Slusher and a nephew, Freddie Waddell, Jr.
Daryl is survived by one daughter, Amber (Wayne) Furguson of Lynchburg; one grandson, Tyler Workman; five sisters, Debbie (Bill) Sellman, Margie (Duane) Lind, Judy (John) Thery, Sandy Waddell, Peggy (Jim Howland) Purdom all of Hillsboro; two brothers, Kenny (Beverly) Purdom of Hillsboro, Jerry (Cora) Purdom of New Vienna; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Private Graveside Services will be held at the Convenience of the Family at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements. Family request any donations to the Thompson Funeral Home, 241 East Main Street, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
