Carrie Davene Reed, 78 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday May 23, 2022.
She was born in Pike County, OH., on July 10, 1943, the daughter of the late William Orville and Ulia Mae (Thompson) Spence. Besides her parents, Davene was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Gilbert.
Davene is survived by her husband, Jim Reed; daughters, Julie (Gary) Walker of Dayton and Cheri (Robert) Hall of Alabama; sons, Mike (Sue) Reed of Hillsboro, Bill (Cindy) Reed of Peebles; nine grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; sisters, Patti Rhoads of Washington Court House, Jenny (Joe) Vesey of Hillsboro, Margy Malicote of Hillsboro and Alice Porter of Peebles; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
