David Lee Burns, 57 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Hospice East, Anderson Township.

He was born on July 28, 1949 in Highland County, Ohio the son of the late Charles Herbert and Myrtle Marie Storer Burns.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Musser Tuck & Ruth Burns one brother Charles Burns.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Ann Helterbrand Burns whom he married on November 20, 1976, four sons, Charles Eric Mary Morgan of Hillsboro, Charles David Burns of Hillsboro, Timothy Angie Burns of Shelbyville, TN, Sean Kirby Burns of Hillsboro, one daughter Jennifer Dale Keith Baker of Hillsboro, six brothers Jim Ruth Burns of Leesburg, Russell Loretta Burns of Clarksville, Bob Beverly Burns of Hillsboro, Kenny Burns of Marshall, Gary Burns of Cynthiana, Roger Kim Burns of Manasses, Va, three sisters Shirley Ronnie Main of Marshall, Mildred Whitey Maher of Fayetteville, Linda Steve Burney of Lynchburg, one brother-in-law, Harley Tuck of Lynchburg, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 2:00

P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Burns

officiating.Burial will follow In the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery

Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00

P.M. at the Thompson Funeral home.

Memorial may be made to the American Diabetes Association,
