David E. Gibson, 64 years of Waverly, passed away on Thursday September 8, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Kenton, OH on February 1, 1952, the son of the late Hurley Gibson and Faye (Caplinger) Gibson. Besides his parents he was also preceded by one daughter, Sonja Meddock, grandson, Marcus Meddock, two sisters, Diana Nichols and Doris Meddock and step-father, Role Nichols.
David served in the National Guard.
David is survived by his wife, Norsie (Nichols) Gibson, whom were married on June 28, 2000, three sons, David (Christy) Gibson of Lima, Billy Gibson of Latham and David Nichols of Athens, one daughter, Becky Gibson of Laperal, one brother, Gary Gibson of Waverly, two sisters, Judy (Jim) Luersman of TX and Brenda Nichols of Waverly, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and special brother, Clyde Tackett.
On behalf of David's wishes, he is to be cremated.
