David J. Heithaus, 80 years of Pleasant Plain, OH., died Friday, July 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH., the son of the late Paul and Isabelle Snell. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Janice Summers Heithaus; one brother, Victor Heithaus and one sister, Phyllis Gardner.
Dave was an airplane mechanic by vocation and had recently retired from Hangar 6 in Hillsboro.
He is survived by one son, Joseph Heithaus of Pleasant Plain, OH., three step sons, Michael Myers of Fayetteville, OH., David Theaderman of Milford, OH., Bryan Theaderman of Milford, OH.; one sister, Judith Tillery; special friend, Ann Lerch of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of David's Life will be held 12:00 P.M. noon Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hanger 6 Inc., 9645 North Shore Road, Hillsboro, OH.
The Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
