Deborah Allen

August 3, 1958 — November 9, 2024

Deborah (Debbie) Allen ascended from her earthly body on November 9th, 2024 in Hillsboro, Ohio surrounded by her loving husband and children. She was born on August 3rd 1958 to her parents Norman Young and Bonita Young (Jones).

She was blessed with a slew of siblings- Douglas Young (Carla), Linda Kay Evans (Robert), Greg Young, and Lisa Young (Chris).

She married the love of her life, Gerald Allen, on November 6th 1976. Together, they had three children who adore them both to no end. Nathaniel Allen (Kerry), Jessica Riley (Roy), Amanda Johnson (Michael), and one chosen son Robert Hicks (Ari). She was a mother to countless souls who had the opportunity to meet her. She took everyone under her wing, and made sure they knew they were loved.

Her legacy of love, humor, and kindness will be carried on through her 7 grand children. Allen Riley, Victoria Riley, Amelia Allen, Emery Johnson, Emmett Johnson,Evelyn Allen, and Oliver Allen. She will be reuniting in Heaven with her father (Norman Young), her father-in-law (Russel Allen), her infant sister (Charlotte Rose), her beloved sister (Lisa Young), and her best friend Delane Campbell.

Known for her love and light, she was always a gift giver. No matter how small the thrift store find or how grand the handcrafted gift, she was a giver. She made sure she knew what interests her loved ones had, and presented us with treasures accordingly. She was so many things to all of us- confidant, a best friend, a secret keeping vault, a mischief maker, a big heart, a talented quilt maker, a crafting queen, a loving wife, a devoted mother, a treasure to us all.
