Debra Lynn Jordan, 48 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Wilmington, Ohio on August 16, 1958 the daughter of John W. "Bill" and Norma Jean Skeen Edwards.
She was a member of the Harriett Missionary Church. She babysat three special kids, Rebecca and William Ruggles and Colin Clouser, who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, John W. "Bill" Edwards, her husband, Joe Jordan, sister, Sharon Edwards, and aunts, Mary Lou McCoppin, and Virginia Strain.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Jean Edwards of Hillsboro, special friend, Doug Keller of Hillsboro, uncles, Lawrence Sue Skeen of Springfield, Ohio, Larry Vicki Edwards of Washington Court House, Vincent Strain of Hillsboro, aunts, Ruth Roger Shoemaker of Hillsboro, Martha Daryl Whaley of Clyde, Nancy McCreight of Urbana, Margaret Michael Burton of Lynchburg, several cousins, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. James Sollars officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
