Delmar Eugene "Gene" May, 85 years of Lynchburg, died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Bloomingburg, Ohio on May 31, 1921 the son of the late Delmar and Eddith Stroup May.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his son, Tim May of Circleville, daughter, Vickie Baker of Los Angeles, California, sister, Mary McNeil of Circleville, several grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Ellen Griffith of Lynchburg, Jerry Griffith of Lynchburg, Carol Kerrick of Wilmington, and Kay Gillis of Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. John Maggard officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
