It is with both heavy hearts and joyful remembrance that we announce the passing of Deloris J. Zink, who left this world on December 31, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on January 2, 1933, in Highland County, Ohio, Deloris dedicated her life to her family, her career, and her community, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is preceded by her parents, Hobert Wall and Auta Gertrude (Walker) Honaker, husband, Frederick Zink, sister, Eva Picking and step-father, Dale Honaker.
Deloris was a proud mother to her two sons, Brent (Ellen) Zink and Barry (Beth) Zink, who will carry on her spirit of love and kindness. She also held a special bond with her grandchildren, Jacob (Deanna) Zink, Justin (Jolie) Zink, Nathan (Susie) Zink, Adam (Monica) Zink, Anthony (Kasey) Zink, Megan (Nathan) Rutledge, Mary Beth ( Aaron) McKenzie and Audrey (Brian) Purzis, 25 great grandchildren and her sister, Shirley Ross.
In celebrating Deloris's remarkable life, we invite friends and family to join us for a Graveside Service, 3:00 PM on Saturday January 4, 2025 at Fairfax Cemetery.
