Delpha F. McClure, 87 years of Seaman, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on September 26, 1916 the daughter of the late Charles O. and Ivy Hoffer Murphy.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. McClure, who passed away in 1986, son, Rolland McClure, one grandchild, and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Mary McClure of West Union, daughter-in-law, Mary B. McClure of Grove City, sisters, Stella Whitley of Marysville, Eloise Helterbrand of Jamestown, Ohio, Doris Boggs of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and twenty-two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Dean Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
