Dennis P. Mcbee

Dennis P. "Dink" McBee, 88 years of the Elmville Community, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Pike County, Ohio on December 11, 1919 the son of the late Silva and Arizona Clay McBee.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a lifetime member of the Beagle Club and attended the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union. He retired after 30 years from the Ohio Valley School District as a bus driver.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rozelle Davidson McBee, who passed away on July 22, 2002, three brothers, Fred, Berl, and Melvin McBee, one sister, Miriah Billehemir, and one half sister, Hattie Combs.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Karen McBee of Peebles, one sister, Naomi Parker of Elmville, three grandchildren, Jeff Pam McBee of Cincinnati, Christina David Jimison of Winchester, Steve Betty McBee of Peebles, eight great grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Abigal, Jerimiah, Caleb, Michaiah McBee, Mackenzie and Dustin Jimison, special friends, Tom and Connie Tarr of Elmville, Margaret and Mark Ison of Smyra, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Mark Whitt and Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Dunkard Ridge Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
