Denver Pelton, 94 years of West Union, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home in West Union.
He was born in Brown County, Ohio on October 24, 1910 the son of the late Otis and Alice Winkle Pelton.
He was a member of the Calvary Community Church.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Austin Pelton, who passed away on January 13, 1997, and three brothers, Roy, Ray, and Clarence Pelton.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Hugh Pelton of West Union, Steve and Shirley Pelton of Hillsboro, Dale Pelton of West Union, daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Dwayne Curless of West Union, sister, Naoma Robinette of Seaman, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Calvary Community Church with Rev. Jerry Holbrooke officiating. Burial will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester.
