Dewey A. Dunseith, 67 years of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday March 5, 2015 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born in Hillsboro, OH. on September 28, 1947, the son of the late Harry Russell and Mary (Fields) Dunseith. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son Russell D. Dunseith and three brothers, Jerry, Leon and Larry Dunseith.
Dewey served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; was a Life Member AMVETS Post #61 Hillsboro, Life Member VFW Post #9094 Hillsboro, F.O.E. Aerie #1161 Hillsboro, American Legion Post #014 Bainbridge and served on the Highland County Honor Guard.
On September 10, 1967 he was united in marriage to Carol (Watson) Dunseith who survives; two daughters, Connie Swisshelm of Hillsboro and Deborah (Jeff) Sturdivan of Greenfield; two brothers, Bobby Dunseith of Sardinia and Phillip Dunseith of Sardinia; three sisters, Gale Woods of Newtonsville, Margaret Smith of Hillsboro and Judy Jones of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Ryan Swisshelm, Chelsey Swisshelm, Christopher Davis, Jerrod Davis, Dalton Dunseith; three grandchildren, Rilynn Swisshelm, Raylee Waker and Braiden Waker, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Monday March 9, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow at Mowrystown Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Pastor Eric Swenson will officiate.
Friends may call from 2:00 P.M until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday March 8, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
