Diane Kay Nichols, 66 years of Piketon, passed away on Sunday May 11, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Kenton, OH on March 20, 1948, the daughter of the late Hurley and Faye Caplinger Gibson. Besides her parents she was also preceded by her sister Doris Meddock.
Diane is survived by her husband Ronnie Nichols, whom she married on May 4, 1972, son Jason Paula Nichols of Piketon, three daughters Coby Lester Pierce Moore of Waverly, Tracy David Carroll of Waverly and Angela David Farmer of Piketon, two brothers David Norsie Gibson of Waverly and Gary Gibson of Waverly, two sisters Judy Jim Luersman of TX and Brenda Nichols of Piketon, eight grandchildren; Ashley Earon Bolden, Colton Farmer, Dalton Farmer, Cheyenne Trent, Brittany Nichols, Paige Nichols, Diane Sykes and Michaela Sykes and three great grandchildren; Connor Farmer, Nevaeh Hall and Zephaniah Collins.
Friends may call at 12:00 P.M. Noon until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday May 15, 2014 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with a Graveside Service to follow at Washburn Cemetery.
