Diann R. Freeman, 78 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday February 26, 2022.
She was born in Cincinnati on August 23, 1943, the daughter of the late John and Georgia (Dickman) Egbert, Sr. Besides her parents she is also preceded by her husband, James Freeman, Sr, son, James Freeman, Jr., brothers, David and Paul Egbert, sister, Ruth Stamper and daughter-in-law, Lori Freeman.
Diann was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, former member of the Ladies Lions and was active in Girls Scouts and 4H.
Diann is survived by her son, Mark Freeman of Hillsboro, daughters, Teresa McCann of Wilmington, Maria (Neal) Stephens of Sinking Spring, Monica (Patrick) Buckingham of Independence, KY and Annette Freeman of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother, James (Zola) Egbert of Cincinnati and sisters, Patty Kaiser of TX, Faith (John) Yust of Mt. Gilend and Georgia (Gary) Jones of Hamilton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 PM Friday March 4, 2022 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may visit from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
