Dick Chestnut, 50 years of Peebles, died Sunday, May 6, 2001 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on May 21, 1950 the son of Cecil and the late Geraldine Clock Chestnut.
He was a member of the Meig?s Township Volunteer Fire Department and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife who he married on October 11, 1998, Marilynn Fox Chestnut of Peebles, father, Cecil Chestnut of Cincinnati, son, Chad Chestnut of Peebles, daughter, Melissa Chestnut of Hillsboro, five grandchildren, brother, Roy Chestnut of Bryan, Ohio, and sister, Marjorie Yankee of Lynchburg.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Cremation will follow.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
