Donald Branscome, 67 years of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on September 18, 1941 the son of the late Walker and Fannie Moon Branscome.
Donald was a member of the Dayton Sheet Metal Workers Local #24, Am Vets of Greenup Post #95, and the Ashland Eagles Aerie #2329.
He is survived by his wife Clara Patton Branscome of Greenup, Kentucky, whom he married on August 3, 1994, son Mark Branscome of Peebles, son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Michelle Branscome of Hillsboro, step daughters Tammy Patton of Boyd County, Kentucky & Dana Qualls of Flatwoods, Kentucky, two step sons; Nick Patton, & James Patton, both of Flatwoods, Kentucky, two brothers; Keith Branscome of Peebles and Bob Branscome of Wrightsville, Ohio, and two grandchildren; Alex and Allie Branscome.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Tim French officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
