Donald Copeland, age 81 of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on June 2, 1932 the son of the late Asa and Ethel Rodrick Copeland.
He is survived by his wife who he married on October 13, 2007, Annie Workman Copeland of Peebles; two sons, Greg and Lisa Copeland of Florida and Marc Copeland of Tennessee; two daughters, Deborah Copeland and Richard Thacker of Florida and Jill Copeland of Florida; one brother, Dean Copeland of Englewood, Ohio; three step daughters, Anita Eury, Sheryl Stone, and Bonnie Elliott; two step sons, Don Grabill and Jon Grabill; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandra, and Jenna; one great grandchild, Corey; 10 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
