He was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 11, 1971.
He is survived by his father; Freddie Merrick of Peebles, mother; Beverly Johns of Washington Court House, three sons; Steven Dawson of Peebles, Gordy Merrick of Clay City, Kentucky, and Anthony Merrick of Clay City, Kentucky, one daughter; Cherokee Merrick of Clay City, Kentucky, three brothers; Freddie of Rarden, Louis of Lockbourne, Ohio, and Chance Merrick of Peebles, and one sister; Sherry Merrick of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at the Peebles Community Building.
Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M. at the Peebles Community Building. The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
