Donald R. Myers, 76 years of Peebles, died
Thursday, January 3, 2002 at the Hillcrest Nursing Center.
He was born in Adams County on November 11, 1925 the son of Alva and Cora Hayslip Myers.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving in WW II, member of the American Legion and the National
Rifle Association.
He is survived by wife Grace Thomas, one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Cherie Myers of Atlanta,
Georgia, four daughters and son-in-law, Judy Beglely of Peebles, Rosemary Hart of Seaman, Janet and Fred Knauff of Sinking Spring, Regina and Tom Hall of Winchester, two sisters, Ruby Miller of Peebles, Marjorie King of Peebles, ten
Grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January
5, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Bob King officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery with Military Graveside Services by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:A.M. till service time at 11:00 A.M.
Memorials may be made to the Adams County Honor Guard in care of Charles Call, 520 N. Pleasant St., West Union, Ohio 45693
