Donald A. Silcott, 75 years of Seaman, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Adams County Hospital ER.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on August 21, 1930 the son of the late Harry and Mary Shultz Silcott.
He worked for the Civil Service FAA was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict a member of the DeForest Amature Radio Club and the Cherry Fork, Norris-Baldridge, American Legion Post #583.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Hayes Silcott of Seaman, four step sons, Billy Santa Elkins of Lake Waynoka, Ohio, Buddy Vicky Elkins of Perry, Ohio, Bobby Jo Elkins of Winchester, Ohio. Marvin Julie Shaffer of Olathe, Kansas, two step daughters, Susan Snyder of Batavia, Ohio, Genny Elkins of Seaman, Ohio, fifteen step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Homer Holsted officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
