Bainbridge, Ohio.
She was born September 29, 1933 to Delman and Louella Shaffer Burton.
She was a 1951 Lynchburg School graduate. She worked at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Hay Manufacturing Consulting Group of Dallas Texas, and retired from the city of Lott, Texas.
Her brothers and sisters include Robert Dale Carol Burton of Hillsboro, Barbara Donald Hale of Stanton, Kentucky, Beverly David Ybarra of Temple, Texas,
Michael Bobbie Burton of Dayton, Debbie Sharp of Dayton, and Eric Linda Shaffer of Waco, Texas.
She had two sons, Orvil "Butch" Janine Peabody Jr. of Bainbridge, Gregory A. Peabody of Bainbridge, one daughter, Christina M. Shawn Foley of Texas, 7 grandchildren, Jarrod Nancy Peabody of Grandview Texas, Erica Eric Fudge of Wilmington, Jessica Peabody of Jackson, Mississippi, Andrea Scott Anderson of Leesburg, Chad Jamie Peabody of Greenfield, Blake Foley and Alyssa Foley of Texas, 8 great grandchildren, 12 nieces & Nephews and 21 great nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Friends may call Sunday from 3:00 P.M. till time of service at 5:00 P.M.
