Dora Fox Silhavy, 67 years of Winchester, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on October 16, 1943 the daughter of the late Agie and Ethel Adkins Fox.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Agie Fox and Glenn King and one sister; Barbara Sexton.
Dora attended the Mt. Olivet Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of forty years Ed Silhavy of Winchester, one son and daughter-in-law; Toby and Jeannette Silhavy of Peebles, one daughter; Linda Waak of LaPorte, Indiana, two sisters; Rosetta Holiday and Olean White both of LaPorte, Indiana, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Ray Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
