Dora E. Spears, 79 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born in Clermont County, Ohio on September 18, 1922 the daughter of the late Herschel R. and Pearl Grosnickel Liming.
She was a member of the Wilmington Baptist Temple.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Leroy Spears, who passed away on November 6, 1999, one son, Byron Wayne Spears, and one brother, Russell Liming.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Betty Spears of West Palm Beach, Florida, Terry and Bobbi Spears of Houston, Texas, Greg Spears of Lake City, Florida, Rodney and Rebekah Spears of Hillsboro, Brent and Myra Spears of the Philippine Islands, daughters and sons-in-law, Lorri and Duke Black of Hillsboro, Tami and Richard Throckmorton of Georgetown, brothers, Earl Liming of Milford, Herman Liming of Newtonsville, Myron Liming of Greenfield, sister, Wanda Turner of Newtonsville, thirty grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Andy Doherty and Terry Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Philippine Mission Fund, C/O Wilmington Baptist Temple, 2873 State Route 685, Wilmington, OH 45177.
