Doris Marie Branscome, 86, of Punta Gorda, Florida, died November 20, 2006 along with her husband, Ralph, whom she married on July 14, 1938.
She was born on October 12, 1920 in Peebles, Ohio.
She moved to Punta Gorda in the late 1950?s. She retired after working for fourteen years in food service as a baker with the Charlotte County School District.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Caplinger, nephew, Barry Moore, both of Peebles, and brother-in-law, Hugh Norma Branscome of Punta Gorda, Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Burial will follow in the Brushcreek Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
