Doris L. Meddock, 71 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born October 13, 1940 at Kenton, OH., the daughter of the late Herley and Faye Caplinger Gibson. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Meddock on September 8, 2008; one son Rocky Gibson; one daughter Shannon Meddock; one daughter-in-law, Sonja Meddock; one grandson Marcus Meddock.
She is survived by her step father Role Nichols of Piketon; two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles "Jeff" Meddock of Peebles, Brian T. and Becky Meddock of Peebles; four daughters and sons-in-law, Penny Music of Peebles, Tammy and Don Music of Hillsboro, Robin and Don Click of Peebles, Tanya "Nikki" Meddock of Peebles; two brothers, David Gibson of Piketon, Gary Gibson of Springfield; three sisters, Judy Luersman of Texas, Diana Nichols of Piketon, Brenda Nichols of Piketon; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Pastor Greg Roberts will officiate with burial to follow in the Washburn Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
