Dorothy I. Peggy Maxwell, died at her residence September 9, 2006 with her husband C.T. of 62 years and her children at her side.
She was born March 14, 1926 at Deadfall Road, Hillsboro to Elva and Katie Payton Robbins.
She was a lifetime homemaker, worked on family farm, was employed by Belfast School District as bus driver and worked at PMI in Hillsboro.
She is survived by her husband C.T. Maxwell, three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Thomas Tom Maxwell Jr., and friend Vickie Baker, Mark and Lori Maxwell, Kevin and Terri Maxwell all of Belfast, two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara K. and Gay Morris of Croton, Lori Maxwell Kiley of Belfast, eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and sister Pat Roberts and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elva and Katie Payton Robbins, daughter-in-law, Judy A. Maxwell, grandson, Scott Anthony Maxwell, brother, Joe Robbins, sister, Marion I. Galloway and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Dale Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Coss Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
