Dorothy D. Pollard, 65 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born in Auxier, Kentucky on March 2, 1939 the daughter of the late James and Florence Alexander Sluss.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie, Doug, and Thurman Sluss, and four sisters, Mary Wilcox, Janice Jennings, Edna Imogene Music, and Ruth Crabtree.
She was united in marriage on December 15, 1956 to Herbert Allen Herb Pollard, who survives. She is also survived by three sons, Raymond Lee Pollard of Hillsboro, Richard Allen Pollard of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Allen Herbert Pollard of Hillsboro, two daughters and son-in-law, Connie Lynn and Terry Bailey of Peebles, Virginia Pollard of Hillsboro, brother, John Sluss of Hillsboro, and thirteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
