Dorothy V. Talley, 91 years of New Vienna, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Cawood, Kentucky on November 29, 1916 the daughter of the late Byrd and Joanna Thomas Noe.
She was a member of the Cawood Church of God.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Talley, daughter, Peggy Howard, three sisters, Vera Danca, Letha Overbey, Mary Lou Noe, and four brothers, Avery, Dennis, Byrd, and James Noe.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Unia Faye and Darrell Williams of New Vienna, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ulysses S. and Faye Noe of West Alexandria, Ohio, Clarence and Viola Noe of Campsbellville, Kentucky, John R. and Jackie Noe of Corbin, Kentucky, two sisters, Sue Stephenson of Salinsville, Ohio, Wilma Dugger of Corbin, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, Darrell Ray Angie Williams, Randall Kelly Williams, Stephanie Jim Allen, Darnella Joe Williamson, Roy Wayne Carol Howard, Rick Pam Howard, Judith Ann John Fields, Robert Dudley Sandy Howard, Gina Howard, 23 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home in Harlan, Kentucky with Rev. Howard Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Cawood, Kentucky.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of local arrangements.
