Dorothy M. Tong, 93 years of Latham, OH, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.
Dorothy was born January 31, 1926 in Pike County, OH., the daughter of the late George and Blanche (Bellows) West. Beside her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Truman Tong; three sons, Walter, Harold and Charles; one daughter, Mary Hall Doyle; two brothers, Frank and Sammy West; two sisters, Myrtle McBee and Jean West.
Dorothy is survived by six daughters, Ruth (Jerry) Hurley of Latham, OH., Donna Bobby) Thompson of Columbus, OH., Edie (Leon) Elliott of Cynthiana, OH., Gerry (James) Crouch of Bainbridge, OH., Betty (Jim) Barker of Hillsboro, OH., Kay (Charlie) Evans of Texas; one son, David Tong of Columbus, OH.; 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Rev. Darrell Myers will officiate with burial following in the East Cemetery at Latham.
Friends may call Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
