Douglas "Wayne" Hurt Sr., 62 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday, November 20,2021.
He was born in Wilmington on March 11, 1959, the son of Lula J. Kidder.
Besides his mother, Wayne is survived by his son Douglas Wayne Jr.(Jennifer) of Sunbury Ohio, a daughter Darla Marie (Joe) Schlimm of Independence KY, four grandchildren Natalie and Sydney Hurt, Makenzie and Joseph Schlimm III, brother Dean (Marie) Throckmorton of Hillsboro, two sisters Sharon Storer of Hillsboro and Connie Harris of Hillsboro, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 PM, Friday November 26, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
