Dwight L. Crago, 92 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the University Hospital of Cincinnati.
He was born in Frankfort, Ross County, OH. on Feb 11, 1917 the son of Percie and Laura Free Crago.
Dwight was a member of the New Market Baptist Church, a life long farmer and a school bus driver for thirty two years.
Dwight was united in marriage to Eliza G. Reeves, April 24, 1937 just four months short of seventy years of marriage, Eliza passing away Dec. 19, 2006.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by siblings Phryne Crago, Pearle Dowler, Paul Crago, and Flossie Stilwell, one granddaughter Mary Ann C. Engle, brothers-in-law Bruce Dowler, Bud Putnam and Joe Pinkerton. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Derald and Bonnie Crago, Willie and Bennye Crago and Donald and Judy Crago all of Hillsboro, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Virginia Crago and Mervin and Donna Crago of Frankfort and Farrell and Ellen Crago of Plain City, two sisters Thelma Putnam of Piqua and Ruth Pinkerton of Greenfield, one sister-in-law Helen Crago of Washington C.H., one brother-in-law George Stilwell of Baltimore, three brothers-in-law, Charles June Reeves, Walter Reeves and Arvil Reeves all of London, four grandchildren Lisa Matz, Jeff Crago, Keith Crago, Amanda Shelton, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the convenience of the family at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
